I am teaching a couple of Information Systems Classes this Fall.

We were able to upgrade our labs to Microsoft Office 2010 over the Summer so we'll now be using the textbooks below.

Technically, I'm not teaching out of this one, but it's the companion to the book I am using.  We use this for our Basic Computer Literacy class. From what I understand, LCHS uses this for the first semester of its dual credit Computer Course.

Shelly Cashman Series
Microsoft Office 2010: Introductory
by Shelly and Vermaat

In the Microcomputer Applications class we'll use:
(From what I understand, LCHS uses this for the second semester of its dual credit  Computer Course.)

Shelly Cashman Series
Microsoft Office 2010: Advanced
by  Shelly and Vermaat

In the Advanced Spreadsheet Design class we'll use:
(LCHS doesn't use the book, to my knowledge.)

New Perspectives on Microsoft Excel 2010: Comprehensive
By Parsons, Oja, Ageloff and Carey

I've used several versions of each of these textbooks and they've proved to be excellent resources.

Have a great semester!

p.s. LCU students should get these from the LCU bookstore and not the links below.  It should also be mentioned that a small percentage of each sale goes to support this website.

Gregg Greer grew up in Ranger, Texas and currently lives with his family in Lubbock, Texas, where he teaches at one of the small universities in town.

Gregg met the love of his life in college -- and it only took three more years for him to figure that out. Together, Gregg and Karen have five children who love nothing more than to sit around and tell stories.

But the most important part of the story of Gregg's life is the same as your story: redemption from past mistakes and salvation by a sacrifice that boggles the imagination.
